Goodell Pratt tool?

Hi all,
Just been given this cute little screwdriver and wonder if anyone can shed some light:

It is about 4 1/2" long overall and is a ratchet type. The knurled collar comes off to reveal the works. It is missing the operating knob/lever.
The ferrule is engraved Goodell Pratt Company, Greenfield Mass USA.
No numbers that I can see.

I'm hoping one of our North American members can fill you in on GP. I could probably scrape up a bit, but it'll take me an hour or two in The Porch Archive. You could have a go yourself if you fancy. The one thing I know without having to look it up was they were bought up my Millers Falls - I think... :-k
