Glue sticks - which colour?

I know its been asked a lot of times but I can't find any definitive answers. I'm ordering a glue gun and sticks, just like to know which colour to go for...white or yellow? Does it matter?
I've used the white ones in the past for my job (joiner), never used the yellow ones.
I'll just be using for the usual things (glue chucks for wood and ,occasionally, plastic.)
