Hello all,

I am after laminating some pieces of plywood together for a frame. Would I be better of using a polyurethane glue rather than a pva type?
I am wondering if the moisture content in the average pva would cause warping if used in large amounts.

Perhaps I'm just over thinking it.

Any thoughts?

How large a panel? I might be tempted to use cascamite, it will give you time to roller the glue on and clamp it all up.

Thanks for the replys.

Rough size of the project is 6' x 30".

I've just looked up cascamite and it seems to be a winner, water resistant/proof - long open time - gap filling.

I've never used it before - any tips or things not to do with it?

Cheers

:)

1st job split it into a number of airtight containers. Then use a single one at a time and you don't expose the whole lot to the air when you open it up.
