I'll be doing a bit of seating this year, in the shape of some old bench ends i found at a bin a few years ago.
Timber slats will be some 800x38mm afroromosia i also found at a bin a number of years back too, and im intending to paint the ornate sections ,the flowers etc in a range of enamel paints(i got those for free too, about 50 tins in all the colours.
They're quite unusual, normally these ends are quite plain.
