I recently stumbled across this place.....

Totton Timber, in Southampton. The staff were very friendly (not like Jewsons!!!!) and helpful, and they had a lovely selection of hardwoods (both sawn and planed up). Prices were good (they are sending me an updated one in the post) and get this-THEY OFFER FREE DELIVERY. I live 40 miles from Southampton, but they will deliver any amount free of charge. Nice!!! :shock:
So if they are anywhere near you, check them out.
And yes, I came away with some pretty mahogany......
