Any. Plus centre punch and 'gurt big 'ammer' either side of corner to expand metal and push/pull corner back square. Did mine when I bought it and again when it khamakhasied off my ladder at gutter level....Square as a square thing. Not to Starrett specs maybe, but spot on for wall layout, wall-to-ceiling conformation, door and window framing, checking big boxes, yada, yada.

Go to a builders merchant and grab 3 or 4 of the cheapest framing squares (roofing squares) off their hangers, and very quickly pick the squarest of those. Buy it, take it home, adjust it.

All that actually means is that you'll have to look through fewer of them before you find one close to square, and you'll still end up dinging it with a punch.
