Just made some copper covers to hide some old heating pipes and thought I would share.

The MDF former just about lasted long enough for me to make two of these covers. I actually think they look rather good in our 1930's house.

Nigel, my only question (as an ex-heating engineer) is are the pipes still 'live'? If not then could you have not chopped 'em off below floor level and filled in the holes in the skirting/floor? Other than that a nice bit of 'rustic' copper work.

They are still 'live' and chopping them off meant lifting 2 layers of boards - I just didn't want to do that. Thanks, Nigel
