Alf,
An interesting, if not moot, point!
Fear not, I have actually emailed Woodford who are not back until the New Year. I have also to talk to Philly re the exact spec but it will be on its way asap as I have a fairly big (for me) woodwork job coming up in Jan. Its a new study for a friend of mine with uilt in computers and AV complex so should be fun.
I want to build as much in the WS as possible and assemble on site.
Regards
Martin

I think there may be a germ of truth behind this.
Woodford claim my 10inch excalibur model 806 will be arriving w/c 8th January.

Delivered by The Lady In The Lake presumably?

Well it will certainly help if she can swim, hasn't stopped raining here for a while. Tomorrow we have lovely 7o knot gales to look forward to
Cheers,
Martin

Martin,

When my Xcaliber arrived recently, I had to move it across the lawn to my workshop at the bottom of the garden - about 50 yards in total.
The whole thing weighs about 500lbs

I took the motor out - 4 bolts and 3 electrical connections
and the table comes off - also 4 bolts.

The motor alone weighs in at 77lbs!

This made the move a whole lot easier.

I hope you enjoy your new arrival!

Bob

Well done Martin - I'm a little too old to remember when you first wanted to get the xcalibre  :D just before I started my website I think?

Hope the wait was worth it

Tony,
You are right, it is a bit overdue!
Mobile base being made up in the next day or two and getting in Chocolate biccies for Waka ready for Mondays arrival. May have to put a couple aside for Mr RATTUS!
What is fun for me is that it has been funded by boot sales alone!
Really looking frward to doing some wrk with it. :) :)
Not quite so sure about SWMBO though...
Cheers,
Martin
