Hi guys
Just bought a Fobco Star pillar drill off marketplace for £20 I can't believe the weight of it. I have watched a YouTube video on how you change the speed on them , the motor is already forward as it can go, and I am struggling to get the belt off to change speeds. For you all to know I have never owned a pillar drill before and in need of help. Thank you all..... steve
 
Great bargain, well done! Likely a longer belt needed. I can measure mine later and see what length it is. Remind me this evening if you don't see a post on this.
 
914mm internal belt length leaves about 15mm when the belt is tight.

Just needs a good bit of tlc. Do I need to grease the nipple at the front and if so could you tell me what gun and grease I need please. Thank you everyone
 
Wow, £20 that's a real bargain that will last you your life time, They feel special from the first time you turn them on, enjoy it
