We have one of those fly killers which has a single fluorescent type bulb in. It stopped working so we got a new bulb which I fitted and it still didn't work. Never thought, I should have also got a new starter for it. I had a few starters kicking around so swapped the starter over and it now works.

Question is starter that came out was 4-22w, the one I put in was 4-65w, is this a problem?

Cheers for any advice, Doug

As long as your tube is in the range of the starter you should be fine. If the stater is wrong for the tube it usually just flashes a lot or doesnt work at all.
