I have just found a bagfull of FLEXICON Drive belts in my workshop, stuck under a bench.
They have a "V" drive section underneath, but unlike normal V belts, are rounded on top.The belts have a checkered raised pattern all round.
All I can find on t'internet is a reference to the early 1900's.
These belts are unused and definitely not very old. they probably came with a job lot of machinery.
They are all about 8mm wide, and vary in length from 37 inches circumference upwards.
Any ideas on their origin and useage?
