First post! Coffee Scoops...

Hi all,
This is my first post here, having just started turning pens, as a novice...
See the attached photos of my first efforts - Zebrano on one, and Jack Daniels barrel/Cocobolo on the other!
But I'm also looking for somewhere in the UK that I can get coffee scoop project kits from, similar to this:

So far can only find them in the US, with extortionate postage! HAving real trouble trying to locate them in the UK.
Can anyone assist please?

Last ones I did, I bought some of these and pinched the wire handle together in the vice then epoxy'd them in to the handle.
Not as nice as the proper turner's kit, but it does the job.

I always like to look for the cheaper alternative. I source bottle openers etc. from pound shops and break the cheap plastic handles off.

have you tried Penn State Industries? They are in the USA, but I bought a couple of bits, and the postage was not too bad.

Penn State Ind, not too bad on postage, but for the weight, I'll incur customs duty, and wanted to see if I can get from UK also for that reason...
Anyone any ideas?

Nice pens, Craig.

I've not looked for scoop parts, but the ideas above of 'repurposing' seems a good method.

Or turn the whole thing, including the bowl part, (though probably pretty challenging for us newbies!)
