Hi all. I have been reading this forum for some time now and have, on occasion, commented on threads where I felt I had something to contribute. I think it only fair that I now try to show the kind of work that I do on a day to day basis. Hopefully some of you will find this vaguely interesting! The louvre doors shown partially made are for a compressor room on a chemical plant, the blue one has just had new slats fitted and the frames you can see are for a new pair of doors 9 feet wide.
the rustic porch shown is 11 feet wide and 5 feet deep. It will sit on two brick 'piers' built about 2 feet high and will be tiled to match the existing farmhouse. it is made from douglas fir and weighs a quarter of a ton! I am fitting it from Tuesday so I will take some WIP pics and post them for you.
regards, Neil.
