Hi All,

First box, just cut on the table saw, wood is oak, Danish oil finish, no wax.

Hi RM,

Joints look to meet very well and I'm a sucker for oak...so looks great to me!

Oh yeah, I also like that the knot on the side. Some would have cut it out, but I think it gives the piece a little unexpected character when it is turned.

Actually, I'd have put the knot on the front, or on the lid - assuming you had the size of stock to do that.

Personal taste aside, that's a fine-looking box :).
