Hi there I have been using my metal detecting Nokta pro pointer for finding embedded nails with great success. It manages to find even the broken tips of nails and is a quick way of scanning lengths of timber before cutting or planing It also beeps faster as you get nearer the nails. So far I havent missed any and its pretty accurate . Just thought I would share on here. There around £70-00 but if it saves trashing a blade I think its worth it. You can get chinese copies but not sure how good they are.
