Got my Mr Dopey hat on....Without a commercial centre finding jig thing what is the easiest method to find the centre point of a 30mm dowel? Have all the other usual squares etc.
noel set your sliding bevel gauge to 45 degrees then pencil a line on the end of the dowel or bit of wood and away you go .you can take your hat off now \/
