I have wood blanks with rectangles cut out of them but the wood, where it has been drilled away it has left little holes leaving an uneven surface.

What could i use to fill them in?

More of a paste really.

Comes in all types of container. A wander down the aisles at B&Q will show a host of brands and options.

Do you mean inside the hole that has been drilled away ? As in end grain .

Ive not used it myself but i think grain filler is what you need .
