I was wondering if the saw problem was ever sorted? I don't recall seeing a post with the final verdict but might simply have missed it

And it's still working fine, thanks.

It's entirely possible that the initial problem was caused by the saw receiving rough handling as I do take it on site from time to time, and sometimes things get bumped around in the back of the van
