exterior door finish

I'm getting to the point where I need to decide what finish to use for the door I'm making. Can anyone recommend a product. I quite like the thought of spraying the finish. I was looking at the teknos products or I could go down the osmo route. The door is ash, swmbo hasn't decided if she wants an opaque colour yet or a wood stain

If swmbo goes the opaque route take a look at Johnstone's. Sikkens also worth a look for the stain. If you choose one of their microporous products they (Sikkens) specifically state not to sand in between coats (makes perfect sense).

Thanks for that. Wadkinitis starts slowly with the purchase of one or two machines then the next thing you know your workshop is full and you have them under tarps in the garden.
