The server UKW is currently on has been down since around 5:30pm till just a few minutes ago.

What they first thought was a power issue turned out to be a dead CPU fan which has now been replaced. 8-[

It’s typical that the current server has troubles days before UKW is being moved to a new one

The server has been down again due to urgent maintenance.

When the CPU fan died the other day they didn't have a replacement for the P4 fan so replaced the CPU and fan with a Celeron 2ghz CPU and matching fan.

The Celeron didn't cope too well in the place of the P4 3.0ghz (+HT) So the work planned for later this week had to be brought forward to today.

The server is now up and running again with a new P4 3.0ghz CPU and cpu fan.
