I was reminded of the demise last year of Emir when I found this jig at the back of my shed. It is a 67/1, the plane runners are oversize for a No 4, too small for a 4 1/2, and undersize for the wooden technical jack they made. I tried an online search for the patent no without succes. Would anyone have an old catalogue with it in? I set it up in the end vice of my Lervad bench bench to check that it is useable with a bench stop for 45 and 90 degrees. I have an Emir school bench in my garage which has a Paramo woodwork vice at the left with a hole for a wooden pop up bench stop further left. I believe the 45 degree use would be only for tidying up a pre- sawn angle
The original E C E Emmerich German company is still in business
