Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew if you can still get hold of those metal Elu tool cases?
I have quite a few Elu tools, and my preferred way of storing tools, is to have them in their cases hooked in underneath my workbench. (I don't have a peg board, cabinate, or anything like that right now)

I have my Bosch tools arranged this way, so it'd be good if I could do the same with my Elu gear also.
The only thing is, I haven't been able to locate even one, anywhere online.
All the ones I've seen on eBay come with the tool it's self, and that isn't what I'm after.

I wondered if anyone had any idea of where I might find them? I know they'll be scarce these days.

Thanks allot.

My Elu Biscuit joiner came in an orange tin box. Simple rectangular, with a moulded plastic insert for the tool. That was 20 odd years ago, so I think they might be like snake-hairs these days. Probably best to make lightweight plywood ones. Some of that black foam is easy enough to fit around tools.

I'm fairly certain that Dinzl.de made the cases for Elu/Dewalt , The Uk equivalent would be Sorta-case. In the last 20 years lots of people switched over to system cases (even Elu/Dewalt stuff came in them ) maybe you could put a wanted listing up and find someone who is changing over

Thanks for the reply. The ones I saw were white metal cases, I guess there were variants.

And which foam are you referring to?
