I acquired one of these routers for a very silly price a while back, and it works superbly, with the best dust extraction I've yet found on a router. BUT, it doesn't accept the simple guide bushes that were designed for the old MOF 96 and seem to be the most widespread standard. The ones for the OF97 are all one-offs in each size specifically for that model or its deWalt badged successor, so are not cheap. Not wanting to spend twice the price of the router on each bush(!), or lose the depth of cut with those silly sub-bases, I wondered if anyone had made an adaptor so that MOF96 bushes can be used. It would only need to be a simple ring with a concentric recess to take the smaller size bushes, and somewhere there is a nice aly blank in my metal store that will do the job. But if anyone has any hints or tips would be interesting.
