I forgot to make enquiries what power consumption and wiring requirements are needed for the Scheppach 2500.

And advice from other owners appreciated on this query and other helfull advice welcome.

It says 9.5 amps on the side of mine, but i have installed 16amp sockets on 4mm cable (ring) for all my machines. A bit OTT , but it was easy to do as i built the workshop from scratch. I have seen them run off a standard 13amp plug without any problems.

Thats what I run mine off - in fact all my machinery runs of 13A no probs inc EB PT and large DX both of which supposedy require 16A.

Cheers

Devonwoody,

It specifies a 16 amp socket - but I just wired mine to a domestic plug - it's been fine. There is some discussions here 9on current requirements for TS2500) if you search carefully
