This is a follow on post and deals with the donor machine I bought for parts.
I would though still like to have it running as it may be of use to someone else.
The switch box differs from other models I've looked at and I can't find anything referring to the 3 position switch.
Electrically it's fairly simple. No obvious on board fuses to replace. 3 position rotary switch. Solenoid operated start / stop switch and 3 limit type switches. SW1 activated on fixing in place the infeed table. SW2 operated on locking in the Outfeed table. SW3 operated on raised or lowered dust chute. Is the motor a brush or induction type?
It strikes me there may be a safety sequence involved here in so much as the rotary switch must be set in relation to proposed usage at the time and the infeed table in place. Can someone confirm or explain it.
It didn't run when I bought it. There is power to the switch box but no reaction on pressing the start button. On my table saw I can feel the solenoid engaging. It has been stood about a year.
Pictures in no particular order.
