I'm intrigued by the bidding history on this one....for a Triton router

item number 4389633055

Three bids from the same person Roy for £100, £120 and then £150 but I can't see him bidding against anyone. Is this an alias of the owner upping the ante or something more subtle?

Roger,

The router had a reserve set on it and what you are seeing are bids being upped to try and find the reserve price.

Yes, either that or Roy was just one of those classic Ebay buyers who don't know what they want to bid on an item. His first £100 bid was very near to being outbid when he returned for the 120 and 150 bids (the going would have stood at £97 I think). Either he was chasing the reserve up still, or he was just changing his mind and giving himself a bit more margin against "mark" who he imagined was his competitor for this item.
