Hi guys, looking to get a pair of ear defenders with a built in radio.
Are recommendations? Looking for guys that use them on a day to day basis rather than just at the weekends.

Cheers.

Me too!

I've been wondering about the 3M Peltor series. I have a set of the basic ones and they're very comfortable.

Interested to know what you choose.

Cheers, W2S

I’ve always wondered about the logic of having a radio inside ear defenders....seems rather counter intuitive

You have ear defenders to reduce the noise by a certain dB level and then add back noise a certain level of dB from a radio that is addative? To hear the radio the volume has to be significant.

I banned all such devices from everywhere I worked for this reason.

I have a pair of DAB ones from Clas Ohlson. Looks like they have changed the models and the price! Still if the new ones are as good as mine they would still be worth the money. I spend much of my days operating heavy firewood machinery and these make the day far more pleasurable. https://www.clasohlson.com/uk/Bluetooth ... rs/41-1465

These are the ones I have and it looks like the new ones have poorer attenuation. So twice as much and not as good (hammer) https://www.clasohlson.com/uk/FM-DAB+-R ... r409984001
