just looking for advice on the best way to find workshop tools and machinery on e-bay? i really dont want to be going through page after page of tools that aren't workshop related.

Hi Dowels,
just click on browse, then enter a key word/s in the search box,
eg, record or record plane; kity or kity bandsaw; mitre saw
and it will find however many there are.
Btw, leave it on 'all categories'

Hi Dowels
As tx says type in what you're after first. The search works pretty well - you can be quite specific. But if the results are a bit spread, look in the left margin and you can see specific areas; click one of the those (eg routers) and this will narrow your search.
I normally then click the "completed" listings box (and rank by price) to see what these things go for - that's the best guide to see what you should pay / want to pay.

Just a quick extra tip - try searching for both 'Band Saw' and 'Bandsaw' and see how many different items you pick up....
