Anybody know of any free (or cheap) software that will read DXF files please?

If you want an AutoCad type programme to be able to modify/edit as well, try DraftSight.
Very similar to use too.

Thanks for that - I've tried the Solidworks one - it allows me to view it but I need print-outs that are to accurate scale (1:1250)?

Will try the Bentley one?

Bit of a pain really - I needed a fairly large OS map but you cannot get 1:1250 sheets from them anymore (of that size) so had to pay for a DXF file of the area at a cost of £240!!
The price does include 1 No. 1:2500 plot but I need 1:1250's of certain areas.

I have access to a large format CAD printer, so if you are wanting a print (assuming it's not loads of them) let me know and I can print it & post it on.
