Recently bought DWE7485-GB and really working well. I wanted to get a blade for cutting plywood finely, and (naively) purchased Dewalt 210mm x 30mm 60T FlexVolt Xtreme Runtime Saw Blade, thinking that this should be ok, as it is for the same saw, except battery operated. (mine is corded) . Fitting the blade, and then running it, I noticed it started slipping, an upon checking could see that it was unable to tighten any further against the blade , as the new blade is thinner than the original one supplied with the machine. Can this be, so little margin for adjustment to tighten?
Just wondering if anyone has had the same experience, would it be safe to add a washer? Alternatively what blade 40t + would you recommend that works well for a DWE7485-GB?
Many Thanks in advance

You could probably shim any gap. Does it matter which way round you replace the nut (some nuts are not symmetrical, and you may have reversed yours inadvertently)?
What is the difference in thickness between the two blade plates?
It might be worth checking the thickness of the riving knife (if it's very different from the saw kerf it might not work as well as you might hope).

Thanks, I was careful to put the nut back the same way , and I can try to shim with a metal washer. I will double check and get back with this and the difference of thickness with the saw blades. Interesting pint about the riving knife too.
