Dust masks. Do you shave?

The only way I can pass an FFP3 fit test is when clean shaven.

I keep getting told this, yet the last two times I've had my test, in a JSP Force 8 mask, i've had a couple of days of growth and still passed. Our current rules say the test has to be done with the mask you actually wear, and it has to be done at no greater than 24 month intervals

Some people will never pass with particular masks, which made fit testing and supplying compliant masks to over 5000 staff quite the challenge. Having little or no control over what came from national stockpiles just added to the fun.

Thank goodness we only have 30 to 50 guys, then.
