i think i getting my head around this dust extraction choice
after doing a bit of research into the different machines and capabilities i come up with the following conclusions
some machines offer 2 stage filtration and some 3
the machines like fein and trend offer 3 i think the nilfisk 25-21 aero offers 2 the difference being a cloth or nylon filter between the bag and cartridge filter , the bag is first stage the nylon cone filter is second or pre as some call it and the final is the cartidge the second stage is supposed to ease the work load on the cartridge filter and make it more effective
i have seen some people say on here they dont use bags but i cant see how that would be effective with fine dust and sureky it would ioverload the cartridge somewhat ?
as for the difference between two and three im not sure , i guess the nilfisk would be as effective as the trend even though it hasnt got a middle filter provided the cartridge is up to scracth.
i am sorely tempted by the bosch l 15 on offer at axminster for 1oo pounda approx even though only 2 stage it looks pretty good for money
i am doing research into not just sucking power mut how much air volume they can deal with
the tran and fein look good for money both very similar in function the feins are on offer at axminster and i found the trend 30 for 199 on net
trend are the best company for explaining the filter process and there catridge is down to 0.3 microns and claim suitable for mdf
a lot of companies are reluctant to give info on suitabilty i not seen any apart from trend state what there machines a re capable of deaking with in dust terms like mdf or microns or any tech info on filters
bosch state L rating for the 15 i wiuld guess the trend must nearing towards m if it can handle mdf safely (not that i work in mdf)
so the search goes on but feel a bit better about making a descision =D>
