Hi,

Just bought one second hand. I need to get some waste bags to fit. I have seen record sell 5 x for around £18. Are there any good alternatives? Not near machine now so indication on size needed would be good to.

Cheers

Nick

Have a look on the Axi' site I'm sure they do some in different sizes. Just measure round the circumference of the extractor and get something a bit bigger than that ?

They are reusable many times over with care so not as bad cost wise as first seems although if somebody else has a cheap source (assuming they are heavy gauge enough) it would be great to find out of course !

Cheers, Paul

Hi

I don't see why making your own out of heavy duty sheet and tape wouldn't work - will look into it more when my supply of Record ones dries up.

Regards Mick

I find if you use one inside the other they last for a very long time.
I empty the waste into a plastic dustbin before disposal and reuse

I have used the Axi ones recently, and though okay, they are not that deep when you consider the DX5000 hangs on a wall usually.

In the past I have bought bags from CRM Saw in Waterlooville, they were cheap and long.

You could try Sawtec in Southampton, as think CRM was bought by them.

I tend to not fully empty as that saves a bit of relief on the bag to start with incase you drop the hose (running on two motors) and the bag goes pop.

Received a sample bag from polybag's and the goliath 3036 is the one the fits. Feel thinner but they are equivalent to 500g.
