Dust and sanding

i have an ex16 and modded the dust collection as per claymore by using a drainpipe water collection thingy - see picture

my question is

i recently purchased in the rutlands sale a new rotary tool which has a 1 metre flexible extension.

how the devil do i collect the dust from this?

i tried disconnecting the vac and balancing the end on a chair - but its awfully uncomfortable knelt on floor trying to ensure all dust is collected by vac
i can only operate in a small area in the corner of the spare bedroom

any thoughts or ideas?
