He cheated ... the description under the video states ''Hand Making A True Solid Shell Drum Set''.

He used a chainsaw - lathe - glue gun - router - table saw - spray gun. :-D

Despite being thoroughly mislead, I have to concur that is a damn fine looking kit.

Also, a great advert for hot-melt glue as a mounting method.

I like a good old tamper with the skins myself and they look fabulous although I have a few comments I wouldn't dare say to him directly (as he's clearly much more skilled than I am!)
1) No face mask despite all that dust!
2) Why is the mounted tom tuned lower than the floor tom? Weird.
3) What happened to the 5th drum (2nd mounted tom.)
Beautiful though, really beautiful.
