I've seen a few posts recently mentioning good runners that can take a fair weight. Any recommendations please?

Also, I have an ikea chest of drawers (yes yes I know, ikea ) and the runners have collapsed. As it's ikea I don't want to spend a lot but still want half decent runners. Any suggestions for this please?

Cheers, Mark

I use the full extension ones from Buller. Seem very strong. and keenly priced. Good service too
I have a pair on a 800 x 800 drawer 150 deep stacked full with boxes of woodscrews - very heavy and its fine.
They need 1/2"- 12mm between the carcase and the drawer sides so you might need make a slight rebate.

I'm sorry to go off message, so I'll keep it brief.

Mr Yorke, Blum Movento, is it possible to have both handleless opening and soft closing? The Blum website seems to imply that without confirming it.

Not sure what you mean by fair weight, but on a recommendation on a previous thread on here I bought some of these...

They take 45kg, so if not in answer from your first question may be good for the Ikea replacements.

Company gave excellent service. I placed my order online and it was accepted, a couple of days later no runners so I phoned them up. Was told the order was accepted as they were expecting a delivery the next day, but it didn't come so they were now waiting for them to come in the following day. I said I didn't think this was great as I would end up waiting a week for them from original order and expressed mild dissatisfaction. I was told my concern would be passed on, and I thought "oh, or course it will!" Well a few hours later I get a call from another guy at the place, really sorry about the problem, he has arranged for my order to be dispatched direct from their supplier by overnight courier and that they will be with e the next morning before 10am. Considering I was getting free delivery I thought that was pretty good of them.

Hope that helps,
Terry.
