I don't know if anyone else is interested in doing the type of scrolling I like to do, but just in case, here's what was a vector clipart dragon I found and played around with to make a bit easier to print and cut. The original is at http://all-free-download.com/free-vector/dragonshaped_pattern_07_vector_163020.html where it states; "Author: zcool.com.cn . License: Non commercial use, learning and reference use only."
I made it to print and cut quite large at A4 size but should easily cut at half that size.
I started cutting it tonight and about halfway through there was a void in the ply and the piece between the horns broke out. Grrrrrr. I must try to get some BB ply.

Martin.

I understand your Grrrrr, moment, the other thing that bugs me is when I get infill drop out from between the layers of cheep ply, (sorry, no such thing as cheep ply), but you know what I mean.

I don’t now use anything but good quality BB ply, after all, we can’t reclaim any of our valuable time spent cutting an intricate pattern, for it just to fall apart on the last cut, why does it never fall apart on the first cut ?. :x

I am lucky to have a high quality wood/timber supplier not more than approx thirty miles from me.
The price makes my eyes water a little, but it is top quality.

(Woodstock, Falmouth).

Take care.

The nearly finished object.

When one piece broke out I was going to glue it to a backing board, but when a second piece broke out and I stood on it, I decided to make it into a feature and leave them both out. Then when I was sanding it, lots of little bits of that there "cheep" ply fell out, so I turned it over. It doesn't look too bad with the photo reduced 75%.

Looks good to me.

Take care.

PS. I see the restoration of your treadle saw/saws is progressing well, also looks good.
