That would be a good start. Having intimate working knowledge of this problem, I would suggest that communicating with other doctors/nurses in understandable english is perhaps just as considerable a problem.

You think you got problems! They all speak ruddy French here :shock: I have tried telling that English is the official language of the EU, but they don't understand me :?

Seriously though. I have never understood how anyone who can't speak a countries language can possibly get any job with any kind of responsibility? To get work here you have to have a very good command of the language. Logical to me.
