I have no idea how many if any of the members here use Directory Opus as a file manager for Windows XP but if you don't, I recommend it and if you do, you may not know that version 8 has been released here http://www.gpsoft.com.au/
It really is the bee's knees, the dog's wotsits and so forth when it comes to any kind of operation involving files on the PC. It is a bit like a 1000hp Festool/Lie Nielsen/Felder version of windows explorer and it can do virtually anything you can think of in the area of file handling/operations - and then some.
