My surname is not on there. Which apparently means there are less than 100 of us on the census. Reminds me, I must get my backside into gear and research my geneology.

Have we all been watching the "Who Do You Think You Are?" series?

Or in Paxo's case: 'Boohoo do you think you are'.

He's got issues that a psychotherapist could make a living from.

My clan don't seem to have moved about too much in the years, but then with a surname of DAFT maybe its as well to stick together.

I had lots of put downs from the teachers such as "daft don't be" (never from my peers).

I remember having six of the best and my name in the "black book" when I replied to Mr. Brown that at least I was born Daft and what was his excuse. :D :D :D

Still Daft after 68 years, and if anyone can think of anything original to say I'll send you a pound.

Cheers Alan.

Hmm. Grim north of England as opposed to... oh, grim north of England. Who'd a thunk it? There's no little dot for my little 4 person outpost in Japan either! 8)

Could be worse, Steve - I get % of people with a more high-status name = 92 :( whereas my wife's name gets % of people with a more high-status name = 16 - no wonder she didn't take my name when we married!

Cheers,
Neil

I'm evidently a high-status (9%), country bumpkin (4%), possibly a rare breed but clearly not on the endangered list especially in Oz!
