I purchased a set of those diamond sharpening plates last year at the Yandles show, it might have been Trend, the bottle of lubricant definitely has Trend name affixed.

The sharpeners works fine, never had anything better over 50 years but
using the spray purchased at the same time as sharpeners it is causing the steel plates to come adrift from the plastic backing. I assume it is penetrating the adhesive.

Anyone else suffering? and what adhesive do you use to correct this slight problem?

DW - if they are Trend or DMT stones I would get them swapped out - that shouldn't happen. Not at the price you pay for them.
Cheers

If its the spray, then Trend have a lot to answer for!

I rather suspect you may not have the DMT stones. Mine have been through our dishwasher on a number of occasions to get them really clean, with no ill effects.
