Looking for some advice on whether to purchase a normal crosscut saw for the workshop from screwfix or go heavy duty. I cut a lot of heavy timbers oak beams etc hence thinkingof bigger saw but do have a good table saw as well Dewalt is in good condition and from a good trader I know.
Option 1
The Evolution RAGE3 FP2552 150 plus 50 for stand £200
Option 2
Dewalt 1370 Radial Arm Saw, 240volt, 2HP Motor, complete with blade
£300.00
Reason I'm asking is maintenance of Dewalt is above my pay grade so the basic chop saw is what it is I know basic.
Just unsure if the Dewalt can do all the same tasks as the evolution without to much messing around.
Any advice most welcome
