HI All
have a dewalt thicknesser dw733 was working fine and a few days ago did try to rise the motor up but the arm is totaly stuck near the bottom and wouldn't move at all up or down, did checked all alignment with some kind of spirit level and they seems ok not sure how to dismanlt it or remove the motor to check if there is any damage to the alignment or any thing else, has any one had this issue before with dw733 ,
Many Thanks for your help in advance, Adam

Allen wrenches (hex), take off handle, take out four screws holding casing onto mechanism, take torch, vacuum cleaner, clean whole area of sawdust, report back.

Take the opportunity to inspect the yellow belt drive and see that it hasn't Kammikassied into the winding mechanism. Simple to extract and replace; DAMHIKT.

Put the handle back temporarily and waggle it GENTLY to see if you can spot wot is stuck. Report back. Photos?

+1

It is not brain surgery to see what is/is not happening in this machine.
Whilst it is apart, give the guide rods a damn good clean and regrease.
