Dewalt DW733 Height Adjustment

Hi, I bought my dw733 2 years ago. I dont use it that often. The height adjustment crank seems to be jammed. I have taken the sides off, cleaned it all out, taken the base off and checked the cogs. I have wire brushes the bars and posts. The locking lever is unlocked. I have lubricated everything but no joy. Dies anyone have any idea what might be the problem?

The locking lever might well be in the open position, but have the locks actually loosened on the rods? They quite possibly have a coating of rust sticking them closed.
