Hi,
I've recently bought an old Dewalt 1150 planner thicknesser which although is working is showing signs of wear {like me}.
I would like to replace the 2 drive belts { part no. 31865 cutterblock motor belt and part no. 32562 dragging belt} and am wondering weather these are still available?
It looks like the cutterblock drive belt may be an off the shelf belt as I can just make out the letters B32 EP, but the the lettering is so faded with wear I can't make out the full description to be sure of buying the right one.......as for the dragging roller I can't see any markings on it.
Has anyone out there recently replaced either of the belts please, and if so where did you get them.

Many thanks

Pete

Pete,

Been out to the shed, the belts are marked

Roller drive : Optibelt 6x500 - the belt may also have a 'CI' marking but can't be certain, it is a toothed belt and roughly 4mm deep.
Cutter Block : Optibelt 10x600 VB belt - its a non toothed V belt.

Fitz.

Hi Fitz,

really kind of you to take the time to send this info to me, I appreciate it.

Kind regards

Pete
