dewalt dc500

does anyone use or own the dewalt dc500 vacum and if so could you please tell me what it is like for dust extraction when connected to power tools like a mitre saw or a circular saw etc as tool shop direct have them on sale for £59 at the moment.

I don't know anything about them, but I've had a quick check on the Toolshopdirect site and I assume that the one with the reduced price is the 240 volt.

Presumably the 110 volt is the big seller.

The good news is that it accepts all 12-18v DW batteries.

it is the 240v model which is the cheaper one i could also use it for the caravan as it runs off batteries but i can't justify the price just to use in the good weather thats why i was wondering what it is like as a portable dust extractor.
