Dewalt D26204K Router

Just picked up this kit. Inside the package was a few springs and two plastic washers. I can't seem to find these mentioned in the manual and was wondering if anyone could tell me?

There is brief mention of the washer in conjunction with attaching the dust port, but I don't see why it would be needed.

I've always assumed they're spares for the guide rod locking screws. I just keep them in a small tin with the other bits and bobs, like the alignment cone and the guide bush. One day they may come in handy! Cheers, W2S
