I'm thinking of the above to compliment my TS55 rail system...it seems a nice tidy size and apart from the noise may be just what I need!

I was contemplating buying one of these machines but heard the DW744 is notably better. I know its more expensive but as it discontinued (I believe) you can get them cheaper than rrp.

Hi I have owned a 745 for about 2 years now. I find it a great wee saw, very accurate for that size of saw.
One minor fault I did have with mine was the left hand mitre slot was too tight by about half a mm at the rear (noticed it when I was making a sled.'was sticking a bit) but 5 min' with file sorted that out.
One other problem ,if it bothers you or anyone else is it is a bit loud.
Another thing I've noticed (over here anyway N.I) they seem to be selling at a good price at the moment.
