anyone in the market for a dewalt 6 inch random orbital sander needs to check out screwfix,they have on sale for £99.00 at the moment.
at this price you cant go wrong.

I picked one up. Almost paid full price at £170 a few weeks back. Im yet to use it but the reviews on amazon.com are great some guys claiming over 10 years hard use and still going strong.

One thing of note is its not aimed at fine finishing. Its geared towards stock removal.

yeah mine will be delivered today.
when it comes to sanding im into makita units-9401-1036 both of these have been solid workhorses for years.i was going to buy the makita version but at 200 pounds plus,this time the dewalt won.
it might not prove to be as good as a makita,only time will tell..
