Deleting private message conversations?.

Trying to delete private message conversations, I can highlight selected messages that i would like to delete, then at the bottom of the page I select choose an action, but no delete button, can't see why I would want to keep certain conversations, the ones I'm trying to delete only relate to questions regarding things I was selling and are now sold.
Any pointers as to how to delete these would be helpful.

Mark them and "leave conversation" - I've just tried one, it seems to work.

It works - I've just deleted 140. I didn't realise how long it was since I did it.

There are two options when leaving a conversation. The default option is to continue to receive future messages if the other participants send a reply later. The other option is to not receive messages.
